Important: Wrapping Up Module 1 (1E-3)

Admittedly, Module 1 is difficult. It might be the most difficult module of all to complete because you are doing a lot of work for little perceived benefit. But I can’t stress enough just how important this module is for the success of the entire traffic blueprint.

Before you move on to Module 2, I would strongly recommend that not only do you watch every video in this module, but you also complete all of steps outlined within them.

To recap exactly why this module is so important:

  • If you choose the wrong keywords, you will either be competing:  in a niche without sufficient traffic to make it worth your while; against far too many other web properties; against strongly SEO’d sites that will be difficult to outrank; for traffic that consists of tire kickers instead of buyers.
  • While Google doesn’t necessarily love blogs, they are fast and simple to create, they are easy to optimize, they support all of those things that Google loves (an interlinked structure, frequently updated content, dripped posts), and they support our commercial efforts better than most other platforms.
  • We are going to be relying on the principles and approach outlined in Day C throughout this blueprint.
  • Your content will determine the type, quality, and amount of traffic you are able to achieve organically, and the quality of your content will directly impact your backlink creation efforts. While there is no penalty for using duplicate content, you will not rank well for it! Exception: you can still rank well for mix-and-match content, as described in Day D.
  • To make sure that as much of the content that you spread around the web gets indexed and ranked, and therefore as many ranked links as possible point back to you, you’ve got to spin your content to ensure uniqueness. Remember to spin with the LSI-aware approach outlined in the video to future proof your blog. Google is getting much better at sniffing out even rewritten content!

To repeat: this module is very important. Complete these steps before moving on.

Congratulations on completing Module 1. I promise you, things will get much more fun during these remaining modules because you will begin to see tangible results each and every day. Keep on keepin’ on — your results will make the effort worthwhile!
